Day 1: Angkor Temples Get ready for a charming and personalized private tour of the Angkor World Heritage Site, starting with the most magnificent temple, Angkor Wat. Our experienced guide will take you around this incredible monument, which is not only the largest religious site in the world, but also an architectural marvel that will leave you in awe. After exploring the grandeur of Angkor Wat, we will head to one of the most beautiful temples in the area, Ta Prohm. You will be amazed by the sight of this ancient temple engulfed in the roots of enormous strangler trees. It is no wonder that this temple gained worldwide fame after being featured in Tomb Raider II. We will then take a break at the peaceful Takeo Temple, where you can sample delicious seasonal fruits from local vendors and soak up the tranquil surroundings. From there, we will head to the serene Ta Keo and Ta Nei Temples, where you can enjoy a moment of calm and reflection. Our final stop is Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Here you will be able to see the grandeur of this once great civilization through impressive monuments such as the Bayon Temple, Baphuon and the Terrace of the Elephants. You will also see one of the five gates with giant faces that served as the entrance to this ancient city. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this amazing adventure. Day 2: Banteay Srei Temple and Beng Mealea Temple Embark on a breathtaking tour of Banteay Srei and Beng Mealea on your second day. The journey begins with a scenic hour-long drive through the Cambodian countryside that will take you to the most beautiful carved temple of Banteay Srei. The intricate carvings of this temple on pink sandstone are guaranteed to leave you mesmerized. After exploring Banteay Srei, we will take another scenic drive with breathtaking views of the Kulen Mountain Range to reach Beng Mealea. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to take a short break and treat yourself to a fresh coconut or seasonal fruit from a local vendor before heading into the ruins. Beng Mealea is a mysterious temple of Angkor, built in the 12th century in the style of Angkor Wat and dedicated to Hinduism. This sprawling jungle temple covers over one square kilometer and is largely covered by vegetation, but don’t let this discourage you. You will have plenty of time to explore the ruins in detail, taking an unusual route to see rarely visited parts. The temple is more accessible, so you can climb through fallen blocks and cross the temple walls, which is an adventure in itself. When the tour comes to an end, we will return to Siem Reap and drop you off at your hotel.
